Should I include a workbook to accompany the Live training of my Workshop Course?

A workbook can be an excellent added-value to your workshop course if it helps your students to stay engaged or accomplish the results they’re hoping for.

The timing of creating your workbook is important because you want to make sure your students can show up with the workbook printed and ready to go. You don't want to just give them a link at the beginning of your workshop, because they will start off distracted by trying to get it printed and reading through it.

Have your workshop workbook created and ready to be linked up to your registration confirmation and pre-workshop emails.

A nice alternative and added bonus to consider instead of — or in addition to — a workbook is to convert your slides into a PDF and include them in your post-workshop email. You’ll also include a link to the replay in this email.

Design Tip: When it comes to creating a workbook, keep it simple. Design something in Canva (a free design tool with lots of "done-for-you" templates to choose from) or even Google Docs.

Course Creator Tip: If creating a workbook is going to overwhelm you and stop you from delivering your workshop, skip it! Keep moving forward, my friend.
