If your work is sensitive in nature (medical care), how can we frame our success stories and testimonials to sell our course?
Even if you don’t include names or photos, you can still include a section on the sales page for testimonials. You can say, “Here are actual quotes from some of my students who have gone through the program:” Then include real testimonials — just make sure to keep them anonymous.
When you’re asking for testimonials, give your students an example of what you’re looking for and how you’re going to use it so that they know their name and picture will never be tied to it.
For example:
“Amy helped me overcome childhood trauma by being patient and sensitive, and by showing me a framework that I could apply to my life.”
You could also include a disclaimer to show that you are protecting the privacy of your students while still sharing their success with your course. For example: “Due to the sensitive nature of the topic, my students will remain anonymous.”
