If I post new content several times each week, should I email my list about each piece or do a once a week newsletter?

If you are publishing multiple pieces of content each week, that is fantastic. You are creating value, showing up consistently, and building momentum. But that does not mean you need to flood your email list every time you hit publish.

Once a week is plenty. A single, thoughtful newsletter that highlights your latest blog posts, podcast episodes, or videos will keep your list engaged without overwhelming their inboxes.

Here is how to make that weekly email work harder for you:

  • Curate your content. Choose your best or most relevant piece to lead with. Then include links to the rest, along with a short description or takeaway for each one.
  • Add a personal touch. Start with a quick story, insight, or reflection that ties your content together. This helps your audience connect with you as a person, not just a content creator.
  • Keep it scannable. Use headings, short blurbs, and clear calls to action so readers can quickly find what they are interested in.
  • Stay consistent. When your audience knows to expect value from you once a week, they are more likely to open, click, and stick around.

If you feel excited about promoting individual pieces throughout the week on social media or in a story-style format, go for it. But your email list does not need daily updates. Weekly is more than enough to build trust and drive traffic.
