How can I make the “before” and “after” parts of the Workshop Transformation Statement sound less general?
For the “before,” use the language your ICA uses when they talk about their specific pain point or desire they’re looking to address. If you hear them say they’re embarrassed or sick and tired, or confused, or clueless, use that language.
For the “after,” be clear about how you plan to fix their problem or fulfill their desire so that they experience the results you’re promising.
Take a look at the course promise examples in The Transformation Statement Formula Worksheet in Module 2, Lesson 2. See how those course creators have crafted their statements for inspiration.
Also, don’t let your Workshop Transformation Statement become something that keeps you stuck. Use the formula in the guide to craft it, review it with your peers and/or your ICA for feedback and insight, and then continue to move on. You can always tweak it as you go!
