My ICA is not ready for the Workshop Course I planned to create; what should I do?
Often, when we are validating our course ideas, we realize we’re creating a course we want to create and targeting it to people we want to work with, but those people might not be our actual audience. The great news is, there’s no right or wrong here. As the creator, you get to decide.
You have a few options:
- Stick with the Workshop Course you want to create. While you’re creating it, you need to start attracting the right audience. Start a new list and tag those people as your new ICA — and that’s who you are going to market your course to.
- Really focus on getting people ready to be the type of student who is ready for your Workshop Course in your off-season and before you launch. For example, on my podcast, I focus on helping people build their email lists in a lot of my episodes. That’s because I know if I get people into action with this in my free content, they will be ready and prepared to use my paid content in my courses.
