How do I recover if I make a mistake or forget what to say while teaching Live?

Mistakes will happen. What matters most is how you handle them.

  • If you stumble over your words, take a breath, smile, and keep going. Most people won’t even notice.
  • If you completely blank out, glance at your outline or notes. You can also acknowledge it lightly, like “Let me backtrack for a second,” and move forward.
  • If tech issues happen, stay calm and address them briefly. Your audience will take their cues from you, so if you’re relaxed, they’ll be too.

Your audience isn’t expecting perfection. They’re expecting value. Keep the focus on helping them, and they’ll stay engaged.
